We are currently seeking a talented, hardworking, committed and intellectually curious Managing Director to support Trinity’s Evidence, Value, Access, and Pricing (EVAP) function. Specifically, we are looking for a senior, seasoned expert in the HEOR / real-world evidence space, who can serve as a Managing Director for the Evidence Strategy team, a dynamic team focused on pragmatic and impactful evidence planning, evidence generation and scientific dissemination that moves the needle for our clients.   

Our Evidence Strategy team helps clients with holistic value propositions for innovative treatments, health economic models, literature reviews, primary research (with physicians, patients, and payers), secondary research (e.g., claims, EMR, registry, etc.), data analysis, medical and medical communication strategy, market shaping, medical education, field training/tools, scientific program management, stakeholder engagement (patients, providers and payers) and strategic publications (e.g., abstracts, posters, manuscripts, dossiers, etc.). The Evidence Strategy team is fully integrated with the Insights team (qualitative and quantitative primary research) as well as the RWE team (secondary research) to provide our clients with pragmatic insights on how to drive both medical as well as payer education.  

We partner with life sciences clients throughout cross-functional areas (e.g., commercial, clinical, medical affairs, market access, HEOR, etc.) to develop compelling evidence to drive product value, support strategic pricing, and improve patient outcomes through better market access. We support a gamut of TAs from rare / ultra rare diseases to medium and large epi conditions, in small biotech companies as well as for global pharma giants.  

EVAP Managing Directors fulfill a leadership role on multiple project teams, designing innovative projects and identifying strategies to help our clients maintain strong growth. EVAP Managing Directors manage daily client interactions with full oversight over project teams – client management, project management, employee management, budget, and financial management, and more. In addition, Managing Directors contribute to new business development by working with other Leadership Team members to build and maintain client relationships at assigned accounts. Managing Directors provide mentorship to junior employees across multiple teams. With exposure to the variety of strategic business issues covered by the EVAP team, this position offers qualified candidates the opportunity to take on challenging and rewarding roles. 

Essential Functions 

  • Grow and support the Evidence Strategy team  

  • Serve as the main client point of contact for ES project engagements and internal team lead. 

  • Ensure project outputs include strategically sound and actionable recommendations and answers to value, access, pricing client business questions, both high level and nuanced based on project type. 

  • Support and mentor team members as a workstream lead, both coordinating and guiding the work of more junior staff members and effectively communicating as a partner to project managers 

  • Ensure the delivery of client-ready materials, including research materials, interim deliverables, and final project reports. 

  • Develop and / or evaluate new business opportunities through the identification of follow-on work and new opportunities to foster the extension of current EVAP’s global footprint within value, access, and pricing. 

  • Field RFPs and develop proposals, primarily on global pricing, market access, and value strategy opportunities. 

  • Bring in potential new client opportunities through previous work experiences / connections / network 

  • Provide thought leadership in evidence strategy, value, market access and pricing in both client- and non-client-related activities (e.g., external conferences). 

  • Support the internal growth of the EVAP function through involvement in initiatives focused on consultant’s professional development, training, resources. 

  • Demonstration: Expertise in real-world HEOR projects and approaches, RWD / Claims, Primary Research; Systematic Reviews; Value Dossiers & HECON Models; Scientific Publications, ideally supported by Posters and Manuscripts in reputed journals. (Writing samples and citations are required) 

  • Excellent analytical skills and numeric capability. 

  • Excellent communication (written and verbal) and interpersonal skills. 

  • Proficiency in MS Office Suite (Microsoft Word, PPT, and Outlook). 

  • High attention to detail with superior organizational and time management skills. 

  • Strong team player, ability to work with cross-functional staff. 

  • Ability to work under the pressure of deadlines and manage multiple projects and priorities. 

  • Ability to balance Trinity’s recommendation with needs and expectations of the company / client. 

  • Comfort in addressing potentially sensitive recommendations with senior executives.

Trinity’s salary bands account for a wide range of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions including but not limited to skill sets and market demand for skills; level of experience and training; specific qualifications, performance, time in role/company, geographic location, and other business and organizational needs. A reasonable estimate of the current range is $275,000.. 

In addition to your base salary, you will also be eligible for an annual discretionary performance bonus.
