Trinity strives to foster an inclusive workspace that recognizes implicit or unconscious bias and then takes unmistakable action to minimize its effects.
Trinity is committed to being a welcoming place for professionals of all backgrounds and identities.
Our commitment to inclusion is based on a belief that when we demonstrate mutual respect for one another — free of pressure to engage in political, religious, or cultural debates — we can also bring out the best in one another.
Cultural Perspectives
The cultural perspectives group celebrates cultural diversity at Trinity and aims to grow that diversity through recruitment and retention. The cultural perspectives group has led efforts for increasing diversity in recruiting; initiated Trinity’s first-ever Civic Duties Challenge, which raised more than $30K for justice-oriented nonprofits; and has spearheaded our new Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion Taskforce, which fosters conversation between staff and the executive committee. This group has also hosted fun events for African American and Latin American heritage month, including a cultural potluck, recipe share, and guacamole competition.
LGBTQIA+ Perspectives
Trinity LGBTQIA+ Perspectives is committed to furthering LGBTQIA+ equality in the workplace. The goal of LGBTQIA+ Perspectives is to increase visibility and promote awareness in order to create a more inclusive environment for everyone at Trinity. The group addresses these goals in various ways throughout the year, such as hosting educational and social events for employees like our “Name that Tune” Happy Hour that this year 150+ Trinity employees attended! LGBTQIA+ Perspectives welcomes all members of the Trinity team, both LGBTQI employees and our fearless allies!
Trinity’s Gender Perspectives
Gender perspectives is a staff-led group focused on gender parity at Trinity. We have hosted monthly topical discussions, have orchestrated small-group mentoring with Leadership Team members, have conducted periodic pay equity analyses, and have partnered with HR and other groups to help ensure equity in recruitment, hiring, and training. Our mission is to ensure that everyone at Trinity can use their skills and talents to their full potential, without biases holding them back, and to engage with the Healthcare Businesswomen’s Association. Our group is growing and we’re looking forward to new ideas and programming in 2020 and beyond.
DEI Strategy Team
We believe that diversity, equity, and inclusion are integral to our ability to innovate and to build successful, trusting relationships both internally and in partnership with our clients. Recognizing that change starts from within, we are committed to continuous and measured assessment of our existing policies and behaviors to ensure we’re attracting, developing, and retaining exceptional teams that reflect the communities we ultimately serve.
By collaborating thoughtfully as an organization, we are confident that Trinity can be a changemaker for prioritizing diversity, equity, and inclusivity in the healthcare industry and beyond.
Our Goals
- Center Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion in Trinity’s values, strategy, and workplace
- Increase Trinity’s diversity and ensure equity for all employees by establishing and tracking metrics around recruitment, retention, and development

Our DEI Strategy Team is committed to driving our mission forward through guest-starring live webinars, round-table discussions, and workshops. The core team devotes working hours towards building and expanding our DEI initiatives, finding commitment to bringing social justice and equality for all to the forefront of Trinity.
