The Compliance Senior Manager for Trinity Partners, LLC. will report to the General Counsel & Chief Compliance Officer and will be responsible for leading the Compliance team and overseeing the development, implementation, and management of Trinity’s compliance needs, taking on a key collaborative leadership role throughout the organization.

Essential Functions

  • Works with the General Counsel & Chief Compliance Officer, Trinity’s Compliance Committee and Enterprise Risk Committee to develop and oversee Trinity’s compliance plan and conduct periodic compliance risk assessments and develop responsive action plans to address any identified concerns.
  • Lead and provide strategic direction to the Compliance team, maintaining a motivated, productive, competent team and overseeing the work of compliance personnel.
  • Chair the Compliance Committee (comprised of cross functional teammates)
  • Key contributor on the Enterprise Risk Committee
  • Develops and implements internal controls to improve Trinity’s compliance performance.
  • Demonstrate consistent and unwavering commitment to the core values of the company.
  • Oversee activities necessary to ensure employee adherence to Trinity’s Code of Conduct & Ethics and Conflicts of Interest Policies, including reviewing, actioning and/or escalating reported potential conflicts of interest.
  • Understand the key strategies and operations of the business and assist the business in identifying compliance risks and develop and implement solutions as part of a comprehensive risk assessment and management process.
  • Lead Trinity’s internal client auditing and external client audit activities, which requires working knowledge of Life Science regulatory requirements contractually passed through to its vendors like Trinity (e.g., pertinent FDA regulations, pharmacovigilance, data privacy, transparency reporting, etc.). 
  • Coordinate and implement compliance initiatives and training in collaboration with Trinity t Legal, Human Resources, Information Security and Enterprise Risk Committee.
  • Develop, improve and Lead Trinity’s global data privacy; vendor risk management, and global sanctions programs.

Position Requirements

  • BA/BS degree required; JD or other advanced degree a plus but not required.
  • Ten (10) years of experience is required in a legal, regulatory, or compliance position(s) in a life sciences company is required.
  • At least three to five years of internal audit experience.
  • Experience developing and implementing an effective compliance program in the pharmaceutical/biotechnology industry is strongly desired
  • Working knowledge of EPHMRA, BHBIA Codes (and similar codes) principles and FDA regulations; at minimum pharmacovigilance and transparency reporting is required.
  • People leadership experience is preferred.
  • High integrity and business focused with record of inspiring trust and confidence of peers and client group.

  • ability to work in a professional and confidential capacity.
  • Must have excellent project management skills.
  • Strong organizational and prioritization skills.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills including listening & presentation skills: experience writing and presenting to diverse audiences.
  • Excellent interpersonal, analytical, planning, organizational and project management skills.
  • Ability to lead and influence teams with and without direct line of control in the achievement of corporate objectives.
  • Flexibility to adapt to constantly changing priorities & responsibilities.

Trinity’s salary bands account for a wide range of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions including but not limited to skill sets and market demand for skills; level of experience and training; specific qualifications, performance, time in role/company, geographic location, and other business and organizational needs. A reasonable estimate of the current range is $130,000-$150,000. In addition to your base salary, you will also be eligible for an annual discretionary performance bonus.
