We are hiring for this position in Trinity’s Waltham, MA office.
Trinity Life Sciences is looking for a talented, committed, and energetic individual to join our Analytics team as a Strategy Consultant to support our growing Data Strategy & Analytics function. This position will work side-by-side with other consultants and data scientists. Opportunity to gain exposure to a wide variety of strategic business issues, as well as the opportunity to gain in-depth knowledge of the life sciences industry, ranging from small biotech’s to large pharma. Further, the intern will gain exposure to many of the leading patient- level data sources in the industry as well as innovative technology and AI tools.
Interns will develop their skills through formal and informal training, as well as receiving mentorship that encourages them to build their strategic, analytical, teamwork, and communication skills. This is a 9-week, in-person Summer internship and the program will run from mid-June 2025 to mid-August 2025.
Essential Functions
- Help conduct secondary research using publicly available sources, support clinical and market context research
- Support internal initiatives by creating best practices and standardized code modules in SQL/R/Python to help increase efficiency across Trinity offerings
- Assist senior staff and project managers to adhere to project timelines by providing ongoing support to client for existing engagements
- Support presentation creation and analysis development in collaboration with project teams for client deliverables
- Support strategic and operational initiatives as assigned
Education: Enrolled in a Bachelor’s or Master’s program in business, engineering, economics or life sciences disciplines at a top-tier university.
Work experience: 1+ years of experience in consulting or other relevant areas within the life sciences industry or healthcare
Other Skills:
- Desire and ability to work in a dynamic, fast-paced environment
- Proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint is required
- Have strong technical ability in data analysis of billions of records of data
- Self-motivated, willing to take initiative, and appropriately independent
- Enthusiasm for working collaboratively in a team-based environment
- Quantitative and analytical skills are nice to have including SQL, R, Python skills
- Strong problem solving and logical thinking skill
- Excellent communication (written and verbal) and interpersonal skills
