Position Summary
We are currently seeking a Research Associate to support Trinity’s Evidence, Value, Access, and Pricing (EVAP) teams with research activities spanning several adjacent areas: Payer / HTA and pricing analysis, life science-related landscape research, targeted and systematic literature review, and research relating to value dossier development.
Position Responsibilities
- Analyze and extract data and insights from global health technology assessment (HTA) reports. Update Trinity’s HTA Vision tool accordingly, and create summary slides as required.
- Scan new HTA reports, draft alerts and upload new reports into the tool.
- Conduct US payer analysis, understanding US payer nuances (e.g., payer prior authorization and tiering), and related access considerations; ASP & WAC price tracking; extraction of key utilization management criteria from payer policies.
- Conduct life science-related secondary research activities as required including analysis of epidemiology sources, clinical literature, treatment guidelines, and product reimbursement sources across key markets. Draw from these to develop treatment algorithms and treatment practice and other summaries.
- Perform literature searching from multiple databases, including PubMed and EMBASE.
- Review clinical guidelines and literature – analyzing them to develop clinical algorithms and inform treatment practice and other summaries.
- Use research findings to contribute to value dossier development or other landscape analyses.
- Assist in the development of primary research instruments.
- Synthesize research findings into slides, including development of insights, hypotheses and visualizations.
- Develop logical, clear and visually impactful communication materials.
- Bachelor’s degree or master’s degree with high academic achievement and demonstrated interest in life sciences
- 1-3 years’ research experience in consulting, life sciences or related fields
- Ability to use PubMed/ Medline, Google Scholar, and/or other literature research platforms
- Proficiency in MS Office Suite (Microsoft Word, PPT, and Excel)
- Knowledge and understanding of pricing and access systems and HTAs in Europe, USA, and other global markets
Desirable
- Major in public health, health policy or health economics
- Experience in systematic review methods and primary research design
