Position Summary
Trinity Life Sciences is seeking a proactive, committed and intellectually curious individual who is passionate about people and the life sciences. At Trinity, the HR Manager will be a key contributor to setting solid HR foundations and best practices as well as supporting the Director, People Operations and broader People Operations Team in implementing and executing People Plans.
This is a great opportunity for individuals with previous experience in HR generalist roles (preferably in standalone capacity and/or entrepreneurial environments) looking to grow their knowledge and skills in all People related areas working as part of an experienced and global People Operations team with exposure to EU and international regions.
- Permanent position
- Working hours – 45 hours/week
- Hybrid role – 2-3 days/week in office (London) and as per business need e.g. HQ visitors, new hires, social events, etc.
General HR support
- First tier HR queries (First point of contact for employees’ general queries)
- Offboarding process including exit chat/surveys
- Onboarding process – sending new hire emails, keeping systems updated, filing documents and liaising with L&D and business to support effective onboarding programming
- Liaising with global team to keep systems up to date (new hires, terminations, change of comp/title, absences, etc)
- Issuing Compensation change letters/other Admin HR letters
- Employee file audit (UK & Germany) – ongoing compliance maintenance i.e. keeping reminders of Visa renewals, documentation audits, etc.
- Support ER cases as they arise e.g., initial investigatory stages or more informal stages
- Assist HR Dir with local initiatives in areas of engagement (e.g., Stay interviews, EES action plan tracking, etc.); compensation (e.g., team equity monitoring, support to benchmarking exercises and execution of comp planning); TA (e.g., career page, employer branding, etc.); HR Operations (e.g., elaboration of HR SOPs and best practice guidelines); etc.
- HR Analytics – monthly production of HR data to ‘temperature check’
- Work with other departments such as Facilities and IT on important work such as Health and Safety, Office usage, optimization of expenditure and more.
Talent Acquisition
- In liaison with the global team, actively support TA efforts by screening candidates and coordinating interviews/feedback with the business during off cycle hiring
- Key involvement in On Campus Recruitment and Internship Recruitment annual campaigns e.g., supporting event organization, interview process, etc.
- Support process improvement reviews and proposals
HR Operations + Total Rewards
Work with global team to streamline all HR related processes such as onboarding, background verifications, payroll, leave policies, exits interviews, employee relations and other applicable processes
- Provide input and feedback and implements change on gaps and opportunities for improvement in HR programs and policies
- Develop and communicate consistent guidelines, policies and procedures in the region
- Involvement in global initiatives such as globalizing benefit offering, background checks and others
HR Business Partnership
- Serve as HR Business Partner to our colleagues in EU region (and internationally); for all aspects related to people operations, providing comprehensive solutions backed by data and insights
- Strengthen best practices for overall employee experience across their recruitment, onboarding and growth phases
- Support execution of People Plans and Engagement initiatives
Regional Learning & Development
- Support executing of L&D strategy to upskill workforce whilst aligned with HQ company culture
Culture Carrier
- This role is of critical influence in the London office and will require taking part in the London Culture Committee and support social agenda in alignment with engagement priorities
Operational Effectiveness Focus
- Support current and future growth through automation and process continuous improvement across all areas of EU HR Ops and beyond
Requirements:
- 3 – 4 years in HR Admin/coordinator role (standalone or small HR team- generalist exposure and entrepreneurial mindset)
- CIPD level 5 qualified or working towards is desirable
- Relevant Talent Aquisition experience is a must
- Employee Relations experience is a must
- Interest in HR Operations and drive to expand knowledge and grow as a generalist
- Proactivity and Resourcefulness
- Accountability/ownership to take on small projects and deliver within timelines

Trinity’s salary bands account for a wide range of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions including but not limited to skill sets and market demand for skills; level of experience and training; specific qualifications, performance, time in role/company, geographic location, and other business and organizational needs.
In addition to your base salary, you will also be eligible for an annual discretionary performance bonus.
