Position Summary
Trinity is seeking a dynamic and experienced leader to drive our ESG (Environmental, Social, and Governance) and DEI (Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion) initiatives. In this role, you will be responsible for developing and implementing strategies that align with our organization’s values and goals and help us create a more sustainable and inclusive workplace. Through these strategies you will help drive our workplace culture and employee experience. This role will report directly to the CFO/Head of Corporate Operations with a dotted-line to the Chief People Officer
Position Responsibilities
- Develop and implement best in class ESG and DEI strategies, action plans, and policies that align with our organization’s values and goals
- Develop metrics and reporting systems to track progress and communicate results to stakeholders.
- Monitor industry best practices and emerging trends to ensure that our organization remains current and competitive and improves year over year.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to ensure that ESG and DEI are integrated into all aspects of our business.
- Engage with employees to gather feedback and insights and use this information to drive continuous improvement.
ESG
- Partner with operations to ensure that our practices and processes promote environmental sustainability and social responsibility.
- Work with leadership to develop and implement policies and practices that support strong governance and align with corporate strategy
- Enhance our position in various ESG survey and external assessments
- Establish benchmarks for ESG principles in the formation of an annual ESG Report, utilizing this data to solidify year over year improvements to internal and external stakeholders
- Partner with internal departments to provide ESG guidance and support on an ongoing basis
- Review external ESG practices, trends, and standards to ensure Trinity is adapting “best in class” ESG principles
DEI
- Partner with leadership to ensure that DEI initiatives align with corporate strategy
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to ensure that Trinity’s policies and practices support diversity, equity, and inclusion.
- Work with leadership and L&D to develop and implement training programs that promote diversity, equity, and inclusion.
- Engage with People Operations to ensure that our policies and practices support employee well-being.
- Collaborate with People Operations to ensure the voice and experience of the employee is embedded into DEI programming
- Collect employee data on Trinity’s DEI initiatives and utilize collected data to build or revise current initiatives
- Partner with Perspective and Affinity Group Leaders to enhance existing group structures and develop group metrics to measure group success
- Utilize current data practices to ensure that Trinity’s DEI initiatives are making a positive global employee impact
- Plan and internally and externally publish the DEI Annual Report, using established benchmarks to evaluate year over year progress in Trinity’s DEI initiatives
- Analyze client-facing DEI efforts, identify gaps, and provide solutions to ensure external DEI efforts align to Trinity’s mission, vision, and values.
- Bachelor’s degree in a related field such as sustainability, social justice, or business administration. Master’s degree preferred. Qualified applicants with 10 years’ experience in DEI, or ESG and HR or People Operations Leadership do not need a degree.
- Minimum of 7 years of experience in ESG and DEI leadership roles.
- Strong knowledge of ESG and DEI frameworks, metrics, and reporting standards.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage with a diverse range of stakeholders.
- Proven ability to develop and implement successful ESG and DEI strategies.
- Experience developing an emissions reduction strategy aligned with SBTi targets and standards
- Experience managing ESG requirements driven by procurement at large-cap clients, including assessment frameworks from sustainability platforms such as CDP and Ecovadis
- Experience driving cross-functional initiatives and working across People Operations, Legal, IT, Compliance, etc. (Project management certification (e.g., PMP) is a plus)
- Preferred experience in life sciences consulting and/or management consulting.

Trinity’s salary bands account for a wide range of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions including but not limited to skill sets and market demand for skills; level of experience and training; specific qualifications, performance, time in role/company, geographic location, and other business and organizational needs. A reasonable estimate of the current range is $170,000 – $190,000.
In addition to your base salary, you will also be eligible for an annual discretionary performance bonus.
