Position Summary
The Principal, AI Foundations is a pivotal leadership position responsible for ensuring the successful deployment and operation of Trinity’s AI products in client environments. This role will build and lead a global team across the U.S. and India, drive operational excellence, and collaborate with clients and internal stakeholders to enhance product strategy. This role offers a unique opportunity to shape the future of how we deploy and operate our AI technology solutions while driving impact in the life sciences industry.
Essential Functions
Defining roadmap and strategy for AI products that scale: Collaborate with engineering leadership to shape the product framework, define infrastructure, identify commercial opportunities, and work together on roadmaps to support growth and scalability. Establish a clear strategy by identifying competitive advantages and aligning technical capabilities with client needs and market opportunities. This will include strategic planning and defining ROI and how to invest.
Lead the execution of the product roadmap: Lead from front the progression of priority products, to create differentiated products that scale, enabling Trinity to lead on integrating human and artificial intelligence in life science. This will include driving product discovery, assessing the competitive set and detailed priorities, driving quarterly OKR definition and then leading product and engineering team in achieving these.
Build & Scale a High-Performance Team: Grow and manage a global team of professionals in architecture, engineering, program management, and solution ownership, promoting a collaborative, high-performance culture focused on delivering distinctive solutions.
Establish Standardized Operating Processes: Implement structured frameworks to streamline deployments and improve operational efficiency, maintaining product strategy as a key focus in all operations.
Leading thinking on architecture: With engineering leaders, shape the overall “product fabric” for Trinity, to enable speed and autonomy by each product team, which benefiting from scale and clients being able to leverage multiple products together.
Position Requirements
Product and Engineering Leadership: Extensive experience in world-class product and technology organizations, including leading the development of solutions that have run successfully in production environments with large numbers of users, shaping architecture strategies for complex solutions involving multiple product teams, and driving excellence in product and engineering practices.
Life science expertise: including experience developing high-value products leveraging clinical data, unstructured datasets, and machine learning and generative AI to unlock unique insights and drive innovation in client solutions.
Strong People Leadership: Demonstrated ability to define and scale product engineering teams while fostering collaborative environments. Proven success in implementing change management strategies to accelerate the adoption of AI in corporate settings, ensuring alignment with organizational goals. Leading the creation of strong product and engineering culture in company with consulting heritage. Extensive experience working across international teams with US and India based colleagues.
Expertise in designing data structures for AI products: Proficient in developing, evaluating, and deploying cutting-edge artificial intelligence and machine learning models to address complex challenges. Expertise in handling large-scale data systems, including clinical datasets and unstructured information, to generate transformative solutions. Depth on thought leadership and driving strategic approach to structuring datasets to enable growth and scalability.
Strategic Vision: Adept at collaborating with organizational and client leaders to shape compelling value propositions. Skilled in blending AI capabilities with vast datasets and tailored product strategies to meet client needs effectively and deliver differentiated, impactful results.
Breadth of experience: Ideally including deep experience in world class technology, consulting and industry roles and exposure to AI priorities and approaches across multiple large pharma companies.
Collaborative and entrepreneurial leader: Track record of shaping agenda and driving with focus at pace, while enabling effectiveness of others and collaboratively contributing to common goals.

Trinity’s salary bands account for a wide range of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions including but not limited to skill sets and market demand for skills; level of experience and training; specific qualifications, performance, time in role/company, geographic location, and other business and organizational needs. A reasonable estimate of the current range is $220,000-$260,000 USD.
In addition to your base salary, you will also be eligible for an annual discretionary performance bonus.
