Position Summary:

Trinity Life Sciences is seeking an experienced Principal Consultant to join our team. This role is responsible for managing a team, engaging with clients, and providing mentorship to other junior employees.

Position Responsibilities:

  • Provide insights through data analysis and visualizations for datasets of all sizes
  • Ability to translate business questions into analytical problems to develop business rules, process flows and methodologies for analysis
  • Ability to tabulate/summarize data and use basic statistical methods
  • Ability to effectively engage with clients and to cater to their needs
  • Manage a team, properly assign tasks and segregate work in a manner that ensures efficiency
  • Guide and, if necessary, train members of the team to accomplish tasks on time
  • Take charge and oversee entire projects, providing end-to-end support and leadership

Position Requirements

Education: Degree in applied math, statistics, machine learning or computer science. PhD/MS is preferred.

Work Experience: 8+ years of professional experience is required

Technical Skills:

  • Must be technically strong and well versed in advanced SQL and at least two visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, QlikSense, PowerBI, Spotfire)
  • Must have experience in designing dashboards, reports and storyboards from scratch, including metric finalization and visualizations choices
  • Ability to find workarounds to the limitations of the BI tool to implement the required functionality
  • Must have experience setting up automated report and dashboard refreshes on a server with a working knowledge of the BI Tool server (user onboarding, user access and role setup, performance monitoring, etc.)
  • Nice to have working experience with R, SAS, SPSS, Python, etc.
  • Must have had exposure to pharma or healthcare analytics
  • Extensive experience working on sales data (IQVIA DDD, Xponent, 867, SHA Prescriber Source and other equivalent dataset), call activity data, market access, patient support programs and marketing data
  • Knowledge of patient level data (RWD Data Lake, Humedica through redshift, Optum/DRG Claims)
