This individual will report to the Manager of FP&A. This person will partner closely with the Business and Corporate Operations leaders and provide financial and analytical support to the business.
Essential Functions
- Create dashboards and reports in Workday Adaptive Planning to drive reporting and analysis for actual results vs. budget
- Partner with People Operations team to drive headcount reporting and planning to forecast compensation expense by individual
- Contribute to the annual budgeting process including forecasting of both headcount and non-headcount expenses across the company
- Collaborate with Corporate Operations (Accounting, People Ops, IT, Facilities, Strategic Operations, Product, etc.) to track monthly performance against budget and provide recommendations to senior leadership
- Prepare and analyze weekly bookings and pipeline and report to the Leadership team to highlight performance against budget and prior year
- Develop Salesforce reports for FP&A team to track weekly and monthly financial performance
- Work with large amounts of data across multiple data sources while ensuring best practices for data hygiene and organization
- Creation of internal & external executive reporting documents including Board and other management presentations
- Proactively create SOPs with Manager of FP&A and work cross functionally with Operation teams to drive process improvement
Qualifications
- Minimum 3-5 years of relevant financial experience.
- Bachelor’s degree in finance, Accounting or other relevant degree; MBA and/or CPA a plus
- Strong understanding of U.S. GAAP and finance principles
- Proven record in financial planning, and forecasting/business modeling function/process
- Must have relevant experience with software and technology solutions that the FP&A team utilizes to help with reporting, forecasting and data visualization, including Workday Adaptive Planning, Excel, PowerBI (or similar solutions) NetSuite, Salesforce
- Must have thorough understanding of financial statements and the interface between board reporting, management reporting and budgeting/forecasting
- A hands-on, take-charge financial professional with strong financial and analytical skills
- Detail-oriented and able to work within a matrix management structure
- Strong presentation and communication skills required. Ability to collaborate across various financial and operational groups from senior management to staff
