Human Resources Business Partner

Position Summary

We are seeking an experienced leader to join TRINITY’s People Operations Team to play a critical role in developing and driving the people strategy for a high growth business. You will partner with business leaders to align Trinity’s people strategy with our business strategy to support business objectives while driving engagement and retention. As a trusted advisor to senior leaders, you will be responsible for workforce planning, performance management, talent development, succession planning, complex employee relations issues, and legal requirements related to day-to-day management, while maintaining status as an independent control function.

The HRBP is responsible for understanding the unique people related issues and challenges of the business areas they support and collaborating with People Ops functional experts to develop and deliver solutions.

Responsibilities

· Establish strategic partnerships with senior leaders and maintain a working knowledge of the business

· Develop and execute People Plan for each business line in partnership with leaders

· Liaise between the business and People Ops function to ensure business needs are met and to support People Ops evolution to support the changing needs of the business

· Lead workforce planning, enabling the business to anticipate reskilling / upskilling needs in advance

· Facilitate the effective execution of annual processes including performance management and calibration, compensation planning and calibration, talent review and succession planning, and engagement survey action planning

· Provide day-to-day performance management guidance to managers, including when to leverage coaching, counseling, career development, performance improvement plans or disciplinary actions

· Advise on complex employee relations matters

· Partner with Learning & Development to develop learning plans as part of business’ People Plan

· Work with business leaders to identify and implement strategies to drive greater diversity in the workforce and ensure the fostering of an inclusive environment.

· Partner across operations to leverage data that improves the employee experience – identifying trends, providing insights, and making recommendations to enable scalable business solutions, programs and policies.

· Performs other related duties as assigned

Qualifications

· Bachelor’s Degree

· 5+ years’ experience in Human Resources/Talent Management/Organizational Development. Previous experience as an HRBP strongly preferred

· Experience in consulting a plus

· Proven results-oriented work experience & ability to work under pressure in a competitive, fast paced, and innovative industry

· Excellent executive presence, communication (written and verbal) and interpersonal skills

· Ability to use independent judgment to problem-solve, manage conflict, influence without authority

· Working knowledge or legal requirements associated with day-to-day people management

· Ability to seamlessly flex between strategy and execution

· Strong analytical skills and experience with Microsoft Excel/PowerPoint

· Ability to prioritize responsibilities and take ownership of projects

· Ability to act with a high degree of integrity, professionalism and maintain confidentiality

· Ability to build rapport with leaders at all levels of the organization
